What is Resistbot

Resistbot is a free civic utility for contacting your officials, getting your polling place, finding volunteer opportunities near you, and even launching advocacy campaigns, all by texting 50409 or chatting on Apple Messages, WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, and Messenger.

What’s the mission?

The voice that Washington and state capitols around the country hear is biased towards those with a lot of time, a lot of money, and often—both. Being heard is now accessible, fast, and free—and we exist to amplify and build movements around your voice, not ours or anyone else’s. We’ve supported campaigns started by a single individual, that turned into millions of letters and votes. You can support our mission, and keep the bot delivering, by becoming a monthly supporter.
